Sign to cycle parking at the rear of Royston station (if that means just 10 spaces, it's well out of date)
Route signs on NCN route 12, Letchworth
Route sign where NCN route 12 crosses the Icknield Way - if that's a shared-use path ahead, it's not wide enough.
Route signs where NCN route 12 crosses the Icknield Way
Signs where NCN route 12 heads north from Letchworth
Signs where NCN route 12 turns right (and then left)
End of shared-use path where NCN route 12 crosses Southfields
Slightly misplaced signs, as NCN route 12 stays offroad on this side of the mini-roundabout
Route sign for NCN route 12 north from Letchworth station (then I think there's an unsigned right turn).
I've idea whether NCN route 12 passes on the near or far side of the flowerbed.
Route signs where NCN route 12 crosses the A505 south of Letchworth.
Map of cycle routes through the Oughtonhead Common Nature Reserve, Hitchin
Entry to Hitchin Rugby Club and start of the bridleway to Bedford Rd - there's an unsigned left turn almost at once.
Route signs on the Icknield Way
Sign for bridleway - but you need to continue a little further on the road to find the actual access.
Map of large nature reserve between the North Road and the A1(M) - foot paths only.

Signage to Roysia School via the new underpass beneath the railway at Royston - a major Sustrans Connect2 project funded by the Lottery
This route sign has been turned such that both signs point the wrong way. The signs should point south, down a fairly narrow path, and west, along the road Fouracres away from the school towards the road Aubreys.
Signage on the Icknield Way Path, Therfield
Signs on the Hertfordshire Way, Therfield
Sign for an unidentified cycle route.
Nice, discrete route marker, but not terribly useful. Unless you are following one of those routes, how do you know where the path will take you.
Proper finger post needed with distances and destinations.
Queens Road is another of Royston's problematic one way streets. It which SHOULD give cyclists a nice route through to Melbourn Road but instead is an unpleasant rat run.
This needs to be closed to through traffic and restored to 2 way
